Lamb and Green Bean Stew

Ingredient List:
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 large onion, finely sliced
1 cardamom pod
1 cinnamon stick
1 all spice
1 clove
500 grams lamb pieces
2 teaspoons garlic, finely grated
2 teaspoons ginger, finely grated
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 to 2 green chillies
350 grams beans
100 grams/1 small tomato
1 teaspoon sugar
3 medium potatoes, cut into cubes
5 grams coriander leaves
Method:
Step 1: In a medium to large pot, add oil.
Step 2: Add onion and whole spices and sauté till onion is slightly golden brown.
Step 3: Add meat, salt, ginger, garlic, pepper, chillies and 1/4 cup water, Cover with a lid and cook on a medium heat for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Add tomato, potatoes, green beans and sugar and cook till potatoes are soft.
Step 5: Add chopped coriander and serve.
Best served with basmati rice.
