Lamb Chops and Chicken Braai

Ingredient List (chicken):

500 grams chicken fillets, each breast cut in the middle

1 teaspoon chicken spice

1/2 teaspoon tandoori spice

1/2 teaspoon tikka spice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes

2 tablespoons tomato sauce

2 tablespoons yoghurt

Ingredient List (lamb chops)

1 kg lamb chops

3/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons tomato sauce

3 tablespoons Worcester sauce

1 teaspoon barbeque or steak and chops spice

1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes

 

Method (chicken):

Step 1: Marinate the chicken in all the spices, chilli flakes, salt, tomato sauce and yoghurt.

Step 2: Cover and refrigerate overnight.    

Step 3: Remove the chicken at least 30 minutes from the fridge before you place it on the hot braai/barbeque.   

Step 4: Braai for 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked. 

 

Method (lamb chops) 

Step 1; Marinate chops in barbeque spice, salt, chilli flakes and sauces.  ​

Step 2: Cover and refrigerate overnight. 

Step 3: Remove the chops at least 30 minutes before you place it on the hot braai/barbeque.  

Step 4: Braai for 15 to 20 minutes or until chops is cooked to your preference. 

Serve with potato salad and/or fresh green salad and warm rolls.
