1 packet chicken schnitzel (700 grams)
2 teaspoons cooking oil
Ingredient List (Cheese Sauce):
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Method (Chicken Schnitzel):
Step 1: Preheat oven to 180 °C without fan.
Step 2: On a large oven tray or oven proof dish, place chicken schnitzel and brush over some oil.
Step 3: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
Method (Cheese Sauce):
Step 1: In a saucepan, add butter.
Step 2: Once butter has melted add flour and whisk.
Step 3: Slowly add milk.
Step 4: Once the milk starts to boil, add cheese, salt and pepper and cook till sauce thickens (you can add more milk if the sauce is too thick).
Step 5: Pour over hot sauce onto chicken and serve immediately.
Best served with spicy roast veg.
